Hey guys and girls! So it's finally getting a little bit warmer and there's some mental volcanic ash cloud above way up in the sky. Yes, it's May and I've a small bit of Robotnik news for you.
To start off with, Robotnik played this Friday (7th May) at Phantom First Friday in The Academy, Dublin, Ireland. We had such a wonderful experience at this show. Thanks to the audience and everyone from Moss to Fitzy to to Paddy to Caroline to Brian to Dec and the rest of the crew in Phantom and The Academy for making it a super night for both myself and Martin. We love lights! See why below!
I'm also delighted to announce that I do a very special performance in Czech Republic on the Wed May 12th. This is actually next week and I'm so bloody excited about this one. It's all part of a festival called the Flora Theatre Festival that happens in a lovely City called Olomouc in the heart of Europe. So if you are about please pop by and enjoy a wonderful week of creation from myself and other performances from around the world. RTÉ 2XM's Robotnik's Random Rampage remembers the life of Gerry Ryan and looks back at one the greatest broadcaster's Ireland has ever produced. We're sure everyone will agree that we'll all miss being outraged, moved, charmed by the inimitable, intimate Gerry Ryan. His sudden and tragic death has left a huge hole in our culture and in our hearts. While I look back at "Lambo's" career in the RTÉ studios, I take some time out to play some tunes - dedicated online from his loving fans - from the likes of Queen, Sinead O'Connor, Elvis and much much more. Robotnik - vBlog #13 - This vBlog is about Andy the guy I met on a train to Vienna. Also, I explain how Vienna keeps on mistaking me for Alexander Robotnick.
Robotnik - vBlog #14 - This vBlog about the Robotnik Hitler Tache Party that happened in Crawdaddy on the 7th April 2010. This vBlog has no intention of promoting anything got to do with what Adolf Hitler did or represented. The reason for the 'Robotnik Hitler Tache Party' was to break through all the bad taste this piece of facial hair was connected to and instead wear it with silly pride, realise its quite a nice moustache on its own and move on.
